Online lecture about medical education in the USA

Our friend, a cardiothoracic surgeon from Boston, USA and co-founder of GMKA, Sergiy Melnichuk, will be giving an online lecture about medical education in the USA.

The event will take place on November 7th at 7:00 PM.

Participation is free.

During the lecture, Sergiy Melnichuk will talk about the structure and organization of residency, certification and accreditation of physicians in the United States, as well as the opportunities to enter a residency or internship in the USA. Sergiy Melnichuk is a cardiothoracic surgeon and the director of the mitral valve treatment program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA. He is also involved in research activities at Harvard Medical School.

Sergiy Melnichuk specializes in minimally invasive mitral valve surgery and lung transplantation. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he has been actively involved in projects to provide medical support to Ukrainian doctors.
