Event topic: Upper endoscopic examination of the esophagus.
Event purpose: The purpose of the program is to train endoscopists to establish an accurate optical diagnosis for various diseases of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenal bulb; to teach the techniques of endoscopic snare polypectomy and endoscopic mucosal resection; and to become familiar with the EVIS X1 endoscopic video system as an ideal option for performing expert video esophagogastroduodenoscopy.
